SINGAPORE FLYER





Singapore Flyer

            With high standards of services and  dedicated team of Straco Leisure Pte Ltd is committed to provide visitors an  unforgettable experience to remember. Flyer was conceived and designed by Dr. Kisho Kurokawa.

              It does not gives a view, but a panorama that captures skyline of Marina Bay with a glimpse of neighbouring countries Malaysia and Indonesia.The flyer is made between a building comprises three floors of commercial space.

             It has total 28 capsules and each capsule has a 28-person capacity and each round takes approximately 30 minutes standing at a height of 165 meters. The Singapore flyer was officially inaugurated on 15th april 2008 with cost of 240 million US dollars.Total seating capacity of the flyer is 784. The building has shops, bars, and restaurant with an open air theatre at the waterfront. 

           The Flyer was shown in Big, Bigger, Biggest episode aired in September 2009 which explored the engineering breakthroughs that made it possible for wheels to grow ever larger.
