            The tower is owned by city of paris and built by gustave effiel who is known for the construction of staute of liberty's iron framework.The construction of tower was started on 28^th januvary 1887 and was completed on 15^th march 1889.It was inaugurated on 31^st march 1889.The weight of the tower is 10,100 tons.There are total three floors to experience the birds eye view of the city.Each floor gives you different view of paris.There are two ways to reach the top-First is the staircase and second is the elevator,there are total nine elevators.The height of the tower is 324 meters same as an 81 storey building.There are two restaurants in the tower named Le 58 tour effiel and another is Le jules Verne.The tower completed 125 years on 31st march 2014.
