1996 for first time by the government of dubai had 1.6 million visitors. With an opening ceremony which gave a good start to the festival.This festival is been organized to promote commerce and trade of the dubai.
In the first month of the year festival is organised for shopaholics.In the initial
stage of the festival it was considered as an simple shopping place but in
later years the more festival was gaining success it became an international
festival.The festival is a retail place which is going
to complete 20 years in 2015.
But innovative programs were organized to keep the festival remarkable and unique every year.The name ‘CITY OF
GOLD” is received by dubai during the awareness campaign been done in dubai shopping festival .The festival is theme based on different countries which also attracts
customers to experience the gesture
